Us
The Photographic Association of Dum Dum (PAD) is a registered voluntary
organization, affiliated to FIP, National body for Photography in India,
serving for the cause of photographic development since its inception
in 1957. Its motto is to promote and propagate Photography through different
ways in various capacities.
It has organized 55(fifty five) International Photo Exhibitions,
9(Nine) International Conferences, 12 (twelve) All India Seminars, 19(nineteen)
workshops, more than 50(fifty) local exhibitions for the enhancement of
Photographic Education and International fraternity through the medium
of Photography. Photographic Association of Dum Dum with its rich cultural
heritage has been a trendsetter in many ways.
PAD is the pioneer in introducing Free Evening Photographic
Courses leading to Certificates and Diplomas in Photography in India absolutely
free of charges. On the basis of our certificates and Diplomas many students
are now well placed in many Govt. Departments, Research Institutions and
commercial Organizations. Some of them are also self employed.
